Pattaya Underwater Nature

Khram-Samaesarn Island is joining by stretches of coral or 6 Undersea Sub-Parks altogether; by dividing to be 2 Undersea Parks around the Khram Island and another 4 Undersea Parks at Samaesarn Area

There are 4 undersea parks around the Samaesarn area as of the followings:

1. Undersea Park at the Sinking Ship’s Area

Appearance of the Undersea Ground
The point where the ship sank of the Samaesarn Island is around 7.2 Kilometers from the fishing point of Samesarn and is at the depth level of 28 Meters

General Condition of the Depth and Light Level is as the following:
- Depth Level of the sea water is around 12-28 Meters
- Light Level that can deeply shine is around 3-12 Meters
- Viewing of the coral at this point: can be done by deep diving
- This area is open for tour all year round

Prominence
This such sinking ship was a ship used during the World War II that was the airplane of the alliance attacked and sank during 2458-2487. Along the ship’s remains, therefore has become the habitat for coral, Sea horsewhip and coralline; in addition, there are also various kinds of fishes living there too.

2. Hinh Luk Bait Undersea Park

Hinh Luk Bed is also being called as Hinh Sunh Chalarmh in accordance with the shape (Triangle)

General Condition of the Depth and Light Level is as the following:
- Depth Level of the sea water is around 9-22 Meters
- Light Level that can deeply shine is around 3-9 Meters
- Viewing of the coral at this point: can be done by deep diving
- This area is open for tour all year round

Prominence
At the depth level of 6-15 Meters, hard coral, coralline and Sea Anemone can be densely found. This place is considered to be as one of most beautiful naturally constructed undersea sub parks

3. Nok Island Undersea Park

Appearance of the Undersea Ground
Nok Island is one of the Islands in the area of Samesarn; is in the group of the 3 stone Islands that line one by one in the North/South range. Coral’s range of Nok Island will be located in the South

General Condition of the Depth and Light Level is as the following:
- Depth Level of the sea water is around 9-22 Meters
- Light Level that can deeply shine is around 5-12 Meters
- Viewing of the coral at this point: can be done by deep diving
- This area is open for tour all year round

Prominence
Comprising of fan coralline, bush coralline, Sea Horsewhip, Antler Coral, Feather Coral and sponge; in addition various kinds of fish including rather big size marine fishes are found at this area too.

- Depth Level of the sea water is around 6-23 Meters
- Light Level that can deeply shine is around 3-12 Meters
- Viewing of the coral at this point: can be done by deep diving
- The appropriate time for tour is in the season of Northeast Monsoon during the months for Novembe r- May
